The Mordecai Ministry To The Bride

The Mordecai (Little Man) Ministry; A Deliverer Of God’s People

Esther 2:5-7 - See the note below.

5 Now there was a Jew in Susa the capital whose name was Mordecai [4782], the son of Jair [“enlightener”/“he enlightens”], the son of Shimei [“famous”/“renowned”], the son of Kish [“a bow, bent”], a Benjamite [“a son of the right hand” (the right hand signifies the authority and power of God, the place where Jesus now sits by the Father; see the Network 153 Vision)],

6 who had been taken into exile from Jerusalem with the captives who had been exiled with Jeconiah [“Jehovah will establish”] king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had exiled.

7 And he was bringing up Hadassah [“myrtle”], that is Esther [“star”], his uncle's daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. Now the young lady was beautiful of form and face, and when her father and her mother died, Mordecai [4782] took her as his own daughter.

NASU

Esther 2:5

5 In Shushan the citadel there was a certain Jew [see the note for Genesis 2:21-24 in the Bible study Eve; The Life Giving Bride talking about “a certain one”] whose name was Mordecai the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite.

NKJV

4782 Mordekay (mor-dek-ah'-ee)

(Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance)

of foreign derivation; Mordecai, an Israelite

(Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew Lexicon)

Mordecai = "little man" or "worshiper of Mars"

1) cousin and adoptive father of queen Esther; son of Jair of the tribe of Benjamin; deliverer under Divine providence of the children of Israel from the destruction plotted by Haman the chief minister of Ahasuerus; institutor of the feast of Purim

2) a Jew who returned from exile with Zerubbabel [“born in/sown in Babel”]

Mordecai was a “little man,” a seemingly insignificant person in the ruling elite’s eyes. He was despised for his lack of fear toward them. Eventually, God raised him, with Queen Esther, into a place of ruling authority [see my Bible study Authority]. He became second only to King Ahasuerus of Persia and great among his own people, the Jews.

Publicly refusing to bow down to the wicked, arrogant Haman, the King’s right-hand man, would bring about a confrontation that at first looked bad for him as well as the entire Jewish nation. Haman sent out a decree to “destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, women and children, in one day.” God would use this situation to deliver His people, revealing to them, as well as us, that their fate was not in the hands of their enemies, but of Almighty God. Purim, the celebration of the Jewish nation commemorating this event, was instituted by Mordecai in celebrating this great deliverance by God.

Esther, his cousin and future bride of the king, was placed under his care. She listened to him even after she became Queen. He was very instrumental in her maturing process, helping her to prepare for the throne. Mordecai also sustained and protected her through a time of great danger. His life and ministry are a “type” of end-time ministry, describing those who come alongside the Bride of Christ and be used to help prepare and protect her (see the Bible study Eve; The Life Giving Bride; she is a picture of those who come alongside the Second Adam’s body [i.e. Jesus Christ; 1 Cor. 15:45] as His helpmate).

Under Divine providence, Mordecai was used to deliver God’s people from destruction that had been plotted against them by their enemies. Esther 9:1 says, “Now in the twelfth month (that is, the month Adar), on the thirteenth day when the king's command and edict were about to be executed, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery [7980] over them, it was turned to the contrary [“the opposite occurred”] so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery [7980] over those who hated them.”

The Hebrew for “to gain the mastery” [7980] is defined as “to dominate, to be master, to govern, have dominion or power over.” Through the decree of one raised to a place of ruling authority, the decree of judgment upon God’s people was turned about so that the exact opposite occurred. This is an Old Testament type of what will soon take place. At the end of this age, when it looks like Satan will have total world dominion, God’s government will take back dominion of this world through the authoritative decree of God’s “Mordecai’s” (see the section The Dominion Mandate in the Bible study Eve; The Life Giving Bride).

Esther 10:3- Mordecai sought the good of his people and spoke up for the welfare (see def. below) of his whole nation. So will the last day, end-time Mordecai’s.

3 For Mordecai the Jew was second only to King Ahasuerus and great [“distinguished”] among the Jews [see the Bible study The Distinguishing Mark], and in favor with the multitude of his kinsmen, one who sought the good of his people and one who spoke for the welfare [7965] of his whole nation. (This revelation regarding the unknown nobodies whom God will soon bring forth came to me right after we came home from Honduras on May 2, 2022.)

The 2022 Kentucky Derby (May 7, 2022) was won by the horse Rich Strike. For those with eyes to see and ears to hear in the body of Christ, he was a prophetic picture of the currently unknown servants of the Lord who will be raised up at the end of this age, seemingly out of nowhere, to lead the body of Christ across the finish line, to their Master (see Genesis 24 and the no-name, trusted servant of Abraham).

The horse was a last minute entry, the day before actually, due to another horse that was scratched from the race. In similar fashion, God has positioned His hidden, unknown servants at the end of this age who will suddenly emerge on the scene at seemingly the last minute. Their public manifestation has been hidden up until now, but will soon be seen by all. In fact, the sleeping church in America will be offended by their words and their actions. Nevertheless, they will continue to fearlessly move forward, undaunted by those who contend with them whether it be within or without the church.

It was interesting that as the horses came charging down the home stretch, no one, including the announcer, was focusing on Rich Strike as a lane opened up for him between the other horses and he ran along the rail. He was an “insider” that no one was paying attention to. He even had to maneuver around another horse right before he made his now infamous appearance for all to see with unbelief and amazement.

This very moment something similar is happening in the spiritual realm within church leadership. While most are focusing on those who are currently known throughout Christian circles as the “experts” among us, like they did with the favored horse Epicenter, the Rich Strike’s will blow right by them as well at the end of our race. They have been trained in obscurity by the Lord for such a time as this. They’re not widely known by man, but the devil knows who they are and is in fact doing all he can to stop them from coming forth. With Divinely infused determination, though, they will simply jockey around him and whoever else stands in their way to finishing that which they have been called to.

By the way, epicenter means “The focal point, or central point of something; The area of the earth’s surface directly above the place of origin, or focus, of an earthquake; The epicenter is usually the location where the greatest damage associated with an earthquake occurs; The focal point of a usually harmful or unpleasant phenomenon or event, the center; The point on the earth’s surface directly above an earthquake or atomic explosion; An epicenter is also the place that has the highest level of an activity.”
